After seven years as a cameraman I decided in 2007 to take the plunge and join the freelance world. Though home is the North West I work all over the UK and indeed the world. I shoot regularly for various crewing and production companies and work on anything from one man PSC shoots to 15 camera OB’s. Be it documentary, presenter lead features, factual programming, sports, entertainment, music, observational, corporate or studio based I have experience of shooting it!
With hundreds of hours worth of broadcast credits I have worked on programming for the BBC, ITV, C4 and Sky1 amongst others. Indies worked for include TwoFour, Lioneyes TV, Plum Pictures, Box TV and Cheetah. Recent credits include The One Show, Flog it!, Wayne Rooney’s Street Striker, Extreme male beauty, The Culture Show and T4 music. Throughout my career I have gained a reputation for being creative, reliable and having an eye for producing unique images, whilst remaining easy & fun to work with. Indeed I approach each job with the same passion as when I first picked up a camera and live by the motto 'You are only as good as your last job'!
I am available with full kit but am just as happy to work as an operator if required. As a client you will want your next production to blow away your audience. You need to be confident in the expertise of the person behind the lens, a peace of mind I can offer you. I am a “can do” operator who is not a stranger to long hours in difficult conditions, with much experience of both!! Whether you need a series of interviews filmed, or want handheld shots following the action or work on the sticks no job is too small. I take each job on its merits and am happy to discuss any filming requirements you may have.
Due to my previous experiences I am extremely well travelled & experienced at spending long periods on location. I am in possesion of a full valid American I-Visa and innoculated to travel anywhere on earth. I am available at a very competitive rate and am happy to discuss this if you want to hire me.
